Local police Inspector Adam Beard says June's forthcoming PACC - Police and Aboriginal Community Consulting - meeting offers a key chance for police to listen to the community's concerns.

"These meetings are designed for the community, especially the Aboriginal community, to meet with police and discuss local issues," he explained.
"This is one of the main ways that we can address the Aboriginal community and get feedback from them, which is really important to us.
"We want to work together with the community to resolve any issues that may be occurring."
One of the key outcomes since the quarterly meetings began has been the presence of support person for Aboriginal youth when in police custody.
The Tuesday, June 11 meeting will take place from 10.30am, at CINC, with other government agencies and PCYC also set to attend.
