The Wine Show Committee, headed up by long standing member Mick Flannery this year, has been busy receiving over a thousand entries.
"I'm proud to be the new Chair of one of Cowra's most popular and successful events of the year," Mr Flannery said.
Judges will hit town on Tuesday, July 16 to begin the arduous task of assessing some of Australia's top wines.
Exhibitors will get a preview of the winning wines at a tasting on Thursday, July 18.
The Public Tasting will follow on Saturday, July 20.
"The Public Tasting is the hallmark event for the show and we're expecting to sell out very quickly, so make sure you secure your spot," Mr Flannery said.
Tickets are now on sale for the Public Tasting. The cost is $67.
You can pick yours up from Christie at the Cowra Show Society office or buy them online through trybooking
"Don't forget the Trophy Presentation. It's always a good night out with winning wine makers flying in from all over the country to attend. This top event always includes good food, great company and of course fabulous wine."
Both public events are growing in popularity and they're really worth marking on your calendar each year.
At the Public Tasting you get to try all the wines entered into the show including the trophy winners.
At the Trophy Presentation the winning wines are featured in each course alongside food made specifically to compliment the wine.
You may even get to sit next to one of the winners at this special event.
This year the Trophy Presentation will be on Saturday, August 3. Tickets for this will go on sale soon. We will let you know as soon as they are ready.
