"If our leadership in the halves fires like we know it can, we should come away with the two points comfortably," the reserves coach said with confidence, but stressed that his team would need to be on-song.
"They were one of the top sides [last season]... so we know that they're gonna be strong again."
Ingram also cautioned that his team was still building chemistry.
"We still need a bit of time to gel... we had some good signs out there on the weekend... A few players were missing but that's no excuse," he said, adding the Mudgee's size did cause them some trouble.
"They were pretty organised... They've got a pretty big side."
Rather than considering this a limitation, Ingram believes this brings in other factors that'll make his team a strong outfit.
"We're not the biggest side in the comp... but once we do get ourselves going... we'll be hard to handle," Ingram said.
"Our ability to move around the park will be a big help for us... we can really [use] our wide men to wreak some havoc and hopefully reap the rewards."
