Owner of Rapt in Gifts and Christmas Cracker platinum sponsor Robyn Roberts said the Cracker was an opportunity to thank Cowra locals for all their support.
“It is a buy local promotion but from my point of view it’s about saying thank you,” she said.
“Shopping local is done twelve months of the year not just around Christmas for the six weeks of the Cracker.”
Robyn said the cracker was great for businesses supporting the community.
“The Cracker shows that you are part of the community and we (the participants) all need to get on board and work together,” she said.
Robyn reminded those shopping to ask for their tickets and if residents wanted to know which businesses were participating they could look at the Cowra Business Chamber Webpage and click on the Cowra Guardian Christmas Cracker link.
Owner of Cowra Auto Electrical & Air Conditioning and Christmas Cracker Platinum sponsor Brian MacCabe has this year stepped up to Platinum level and has urged everyone to support the buy local campaign.
