Cowra retained the Cup at the end of last season and so far this season has seen off challenges from Grenfell and Molong.
Young will provide the stiffest opposition so far this season for the Cowra side when it challenges for the Cup on Sunday, November 25.
If the Cowra side, which has scored fairly effortless victories in its defences so far this season, can get over Young it will then face much more serious opposition in the following weeks from Forbes and then Parkes.
While Cowra’s senior representative side will have a beak this weekend the town’s juniors will be taking part in intertown games.
The venues for this Sunday’s Inter-council games against Mitchell in Cowra are:
12's - Macpherson Oval (Turf), middle ground McDonald's side of the river.
14's - Oliver Oval (1st turf McDonald's side of river).
16's - Twigg Oval (2nd turf next to Swimming Pool).
