It was all about the hashtag and selfies at the Cowra Information and Neighbourhood Centre (CINC) on Friday as the organisation took part in Get Online Week.

Trish Gundersen from CINC said the program was designed to make ensure that no one is left behind in an increasingly digital world.
“Get Online Week is to promote over 50s to start using interactive services, so being able to use the internet, how to take selfies,” she said.
Trish said the Centre had a number of activities for the participants to complete.
“Our three things today are to take a selfie, use the hashtag #tryonething which is the Get Online tag,” she said.
“Then we are Googling morning tea recipes because we are at morning tea and the third one is Spotify their favourite song.”
