The Cowra Stingrays return to the Cowra Aquatic Centre for the first club night of the 2018-19 season on Tuesday, October 16 at 6pm.

If you haven’t already registered you can do so by visiting the club’s website cowra.swimming.org.au
Fees are to be paid online prior to competing with the Club.
This season fees are $140 for the first family member and $105 for each additional family member.
This fee covers registration and insurance and swimmers will receive an item of Club apparel.
Please note if your child/ren is registered as a junior dolphin they will receive a special t-shirt and bag.
If you wish to purchase any Club apparel you can do so at Mr Embroidery.
Help needed for set up on club nights
The club need’s your help with lane ropes, timekeeping, announcing, marshalling, computer, barbeque etc don’t be afraid to lend a hand -many hands make light work.
Finn Ryan has just returned from a Youth Leadership Camp held at Lake Burrendong hosted by Swimming NSW.
Finn had a great time, he was well fed, met new friends, did some fun exercises including building a catapult, survived one and a half days without his mobile phone and slept all the way home.
The club encourages more swimmers to apply for the 2019 camps.
Event entries are online so please remember to go to the club’s website each week and enter the events you or your child/ren wish to swim.
The following week’s Club night entries will open on Tuesday and entries need to be completed by Monday.
If Club night is cancelled due to poor weather you will need to enter online for the following week.
Remember you need to swim each event six times to qualify to swim that event at our Championships.
Squad training starts October 15
Squad training commences October 15, is provided by the Club coaches Pat Charnock and Monique Gallen.
Pat will be coaching mornings 5.45am to 7.30am Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and Monique afternoons 3.45pm to 4.30pm Juniors and Seniors 4.30pm to 5.30/6pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
A Squad training fee of $200 each child is due by December 1, 2018.
The required minimum standard for squad training is the ability to swim 50m freestyle and backstroke and 25m breaststroke and butterfly with correct technique (or commitment to learn).
Please ask the coaches on pool deck which squad would best suit your child/ren if you want them to take part.
Parents please note if your child is under the age of 10 they will need adult supervision in accordance with the Cowra Aquatic Centre rules.
