The action starts at 4pm with the Prydes Easifeeds Ladies Barrel Race followed by the Enhanced Air Junior (U18) Barrel Race.
The Cowra Machinery Centre 8-U11yrs Junior Steer Ride, JJ Dresser and Co 11-U14yrs Junior Steer Ride and McColls Transport 14-u18s Junior Steer Ride will take place before the Beulah Machinery Novice Saddlebronc Ride.
The Lachlan Fertilizers Rural Novice Bull Ride, Central Veterinary Services Open Bareback and Elders Insurance Open Saddlebronc Ride will be followed by the Glenella Quarries Open Bull Ride to round out the evening.
Our open events will be the crowd favourites, with the competitors all vying for an Eddie Fisher ‘RideTuff’ buckle that is up for grabs in each of their respective events!
We are expecting entries from cowboys and cowgirls from across the state, chasing points in both the National Rodeo Competition Standings and the Southern Zone Rodeo Association, so the competition will be tough in all events.
There will be a BBQ available, as well as a coffee van and bar facilities for those aged over 18, during the afternoon and evening. Strictly no BYO.
It is sure to be an exciting evening, so bring the whole family and experience the thrills and spills of the rodeo!
For those over 18 who want to get the chance to meet some of the cowboys and cowgirls, the after party will be held at the Imperial Hotel, so don’t forget to join us down there after the rodeo.
We will also have the talented Glenn from Glenn Daley Photography there to capture the event.
