As elected the committee consists of Ray Johnston (President), Kerry Quin (Secretary), Tracey Gunnyon (Treasurer) and general committee members Peter Boler, Jane Doolan, Jason Stanford, Gaye L’Estrange and Ida Carter.
We envisage that the cost of the fireworks and entertainment for the night will be somewhere in the vicinity of $10,000 and are well underway to achieving this goal with some very generous sponsors onboard.
The theme for the night is going to be a “Beach Party”.
All residents and visitors are asked to get in the spirit of the event and come dressed appropriately for a fun night.
Our first fundraising event is going to be a 500-club draw.
Tickets will be $10 each with the winner to walk away with $1000.
If you would like to purchase a ticket, please contact one of our committee members, who will be more than happy to help out.
Anyone who is able to help out on the night with entertainment or market stalls, please contact either Jason Stephensen at the Cowra Tourist and Information Centre or Kerry Quin at the Cowra Guardian office.
Stalls are limited, so you are urged to get in early.
Our next meeting will be held at the Cowra Services Club on Wednesday August 29 at 6pm, all welcome to attend.
