There participation and service to the sport of golf and the Cowra Golf Club was unsurpassed.
Eunice Bishop was a former club captain, life member of the club and 13 times Cowra Ladies Club golfing champion between 1957-1978.
For her services to the sport she was made a life member of Western District and life member of NSWLGU as well as being inducted into the Cowra Sporting Hall of Fame.
Eunice was a beautiful mentor to all who had the privilege to play with her.
Val Silk, in addition to being a dedicated player was Cowra Ladies Club secretary.
Anne Williams was Cowra Ladies Club captain, played with Cowra winning Pennants teams during the 1990’s and a very fluent convenor of rules and the game of golf.
Col Bryant played golf for many years at Cowra before retiring to Coffs Harbour a few years ago.
Sincere sympathy is extended to all the families and friends.
