More than $2000 has been raised for Neuroblastoma Children’s Cancer research after a fashion parade and high tea was held at the Presbyterian Hall on Saturday afternoon.

More than 75 people attended the event, which showcased The Closet’s new winter collection.
Organsier Dierdre Keady said it was a very successful day.
“It was a great roll up,” she said.
“There are lots of donations rolling in that have not been finalised yet but it is in excess of $2000.”
The event also featured a high tea, lucky door prizes and a raffle.
The funds will be donated to Neuroblastoma Australia, which was started by families and friends affected by neuroblastoma in 2010.
Since 2010, over $1 million has been raised for research into neuroblastoma.
Neuroblastoma is the most common solid tumour of childhood. It is almost exclusively a childhood cancer occurring most commonly between the ages of 0-5 years.
