Falcon’s Fury and Ferrero Miss enter the $15,000 decider with plenty of momentum having negotiated the qualifiers.
Falcon’s Fury has won four of his past five outings while Ferrero Miss has won two of her last three.
Falcon’s Fury is aiming for back-to-back Bathurst Golf Cup wins, having taken out the 2017 edition as the $1.50 favourite, and further silverware to add to his already stacked trophy shelf.
He stopped the clock in a respectable 29.98s in last Friday’s heats. The Braddon team know he can do better having smashed the Kennerson Park record with a blistering 29.24s in the Orange Cup final on January 29.
The Group 2 Bulli Gold Cup winner has drawn wide in box six. He’s had three starts for two wins in the green rug.
Ferrero Miss, the winner of the 2017 Graeme Hull Memorial, will launch from box two. Her qualifying time of 29.87s was quicker than Falcon’s Fury however she finished second behind Little Digger who clocked the fastest qualifying time with an electric 29.50s.
Little Digger is trained by the Forbes-based Raymond Smith who also has Big Daddy Bee and Midnight Treat among the finalists.
The final is set for a 9.25pm jump on Friday night.
