Hard-hitting batsman Mick Curtale and wicket-taker Nathan Thorn have linked with the Matt Crawley captained team, who meet Valleys this Saturday at Twigg Oval.
This week the side will be without all-rounders Tim Berry, Charlie Johns and top order batsman Kurt Johnstone, as well as wicketkeeper Scott Gray who has retired.
Crawley is confident his side’s a threat in the new competition.
“I think it’s going to be a strong competition. The two Parkes sides will be really good so we’re prepared for a stronger competition than last season,” he said.
Bowling Club have also picked up 15-year-old Bathurst product Matt Gaut who looms as a bowling option. Aaron Thorn is expected to open the bowling.
