“As part of Cowra’s participation in World Peace Day the town’s youth council is this year participating in the International Compassion Games from September 9 to 24 aimed at working together to promote peace and understanding and to spread compassion in the world,” Mr Brown said.
Starting on September 9 and culminating on World Peace Weekend (September 23-24), players and teams will challenge and inspire each other to organize actions that build bridges between peace, prosperity, and the planet.
The Global Unity Games are part of the World Peace & Global Unity Campaign organized by Unify and Compassion Games.
