Victory at Lithgow was Cowra’s second in a row, having thumped Mudgee to open their account in round two.
Goal-scoring machine Toby Baker picked up man of the match honours.
The win also consolidated Cowra spot in the competitions top four along with Panorama Red and Panorama Black.
Sunday’s round four match looms a tough assignment for Adam Gambrill’s men, who will travel to Bathurst and meet CSU Red at Proctor Park.
CSU Red were unbeaten until they were edged out by their clubmates CSU White during round three.
For Cowra, three points would be hugely valuable and would see them remain in the top three.
The match begins from 1pm this Sunday.
