Valleys may have been one of the sides that arguably underperformed last season in the Sportspower Cup but they've recruited well ahead of the new season and skipper Greg Garlick is confident of their chances in Grenfell tomorrow.

The green and golds finished fifth last season, one short of a finals shot, and will be hungry to right their wrongs from 2014-2015.
They will be without regular first graders in Chris Baratto, Aaron Denzel and Daniel Frenda-Briggs but will welcome three new faces when they travel to Grenfell full strength tomorrow.
Former Valleys all rounder Chris Green returns to the fold as a handy acquisition, Mick Sheehy will don the green and gold to bolster the batting line-up and new man to town Jacob Edgecomb, is expected to contribute in both the batting and bowling department.
Looking to lead from the front, though, will be Garlick, Jackson Moodie, David Henderson and Troy Hayes.
"I'm tipping [Jackson] Moodie as a one of the top all rounders in the competition, for both club and representative cricket," Valleys captain Greg Garlick said.
"Dave Henderson will show his class again, he was one of the best bowlers last season, and I think it'll be a big year for Hayesey [Troy Hayes]," he said.
Garlick is expecting a run fest at Grenfell tomorrow between two teams who are ready to hit the ground running.
"I reckon they'll be a youthful, attacking side. It'll be a high scoring and high a energy clash," he said.
Their opponents were the wooden spooners last season but on their day produced some of the most exciting cricket.
They will take the psychological advantage from when they last hosted Valleys, when they blasted 396 from their 40 overs in February this year.
Zach Starr blasted 154 that day and will play a big part in whether his side score the points.
The match begins at 1pm tomorrow at Henry Lawson Oval.
