The Cowra and Woodstock Racing Pigeon Club held their latest race from Buddabadah, 253 kilometres to the North West of Cowra on Saturday July 2.

The 66 Cowra and Woodstock birds were released at 10am in to a helping wind, Ken Sigsworth at Woodstock yet again took out the open race clocking at 1.31pm for a velocity of 1192 metres per minute, Peter East in Cowra claimed second clocking at 1.36pm for a velocity of 1157 meters per minute and Jon South in Cowra rounded out the placings clocking at 1.39pm for a velocity of 1154 meters per minute.
The Loft of the Day results (based on each flyers first three birds home) were 1st Ken Sigsworth, 2nd Peter East and 3rd Jon South, there was also a two bird race and the results there was 1st Jon South, 2nd Peter East and 3rd Ken Sigsworth, the $5 pools results were 1st Jon South, 2nd Peter East and 3rd Ken Sigsworth.
Next week we'll be racing from Hermidale a distance of 315 kilometres.
