It's not every day that you see a petting zoo at your local fast food joint but this Saturday is set to be a great family day out at Cowra KFC, all in the name of raising money for World Hunger.

Kicking off at 10.30am until 2pm on Saturday, September 28, Cowra KFC will be hosting event with the aim of raising money for the World Food program and to inspire people in developed nations to show their solidarity and support to enable many more to end their own hunger and poverty.
A petting zoo, jumping castle, face painting and 'crazy hair' will provide plenty of entertainment for the kids, with all gold coin donations to enjoy these activities going towards World Hunger.
A colouring competition is also available and entries can be taken now, with age group categories from two to five years, six to seven, eight to nine and ten to 12.
A range of tasty treats donated by local business, 'Megs Licious Cakes' is sure to keep everyone happy, along with one dollar KFC crushes.
All gold coin donations and proceeds from the crushes will go towards raising money to enable the world food program to feed children in need, with as little as 25 cents needed to provide a meal for one child in developing nations.
