Last Saturday Noel and Mark Hubber had a close win over Ian Walker and Shane Beasley in a semi-final match of Men’s A Grade Pairs, as did Ken Porter and Brayden Chew over Tom Peadon and Rob Britt in a semi-final match of Men’s B Grade Pairs.

The 2nd Round of Consistency/Handicap Singles was played on Sunday, with some very close contests and the following outcomes, Sharen Hubber def Rob Britt, Rob Oliver def Leila Burns, Ian Walker def Shane Lauritzen, Laurie Chew def Jo Davies, Steve Sculthorpe def John Bischof, Rob Watterston def Mike Baldwin, Brayden Chew def Brian Potts and Bob Morgan def Tom Peadon. Congratulations to all the winners and many thanks to our Umpires and Markers again, these events wouldn’t happen without these volunteers.

Upcoming Matches and Events.

This Saturday at 1pm Bob Morgan and Steve Sculthorpe will play Rob Oliver and Peter Lesueur in a semi-final match of Men’s B Grade Pairs, whilst Brian Potts and Rob Watterston will take on Dave McLoughlin and Dave Bohanna in a semi-final match of Men’s C Grade Pairs.

On Sunday morning at 10.00am our mixed social bowls will be back, so phone in between 8.45am and 9.30am to put your name in.

The quarter final matches of Consistency Singles will be played this coming Sunday afternoon at 1.00pm and there should be a number of particularly good, close matches. Sharen Hubber v Rob Oliver, Ian Walker v Laurie Chew, Steve Sculthorpe v Rob Watterston and Brayden Chew v Bob Morgan.
