Cowra Guardian
Commencing as the Cowra Guardian and Lachlan Agricultural Recorder in 1885, the masthead was renamed the Cowra Gobbler between 1980-84 before reverting to The Guardian.
Cowra is the gateway to the Lachlan Valley; it is a dynamic regional town in the centre of NSW known for its strong focus on community and international friendship.

Canowindra News was launched in 1971 and took over coverage of the town, following the demise of the Canowindra’s first newspaper The Star which commenced in 1899.
