Reduced numbers and quality continued to be mixed with the supplementary fed lambs generally in good condition while the remainder tended to lack finish.

There were mainly heavy weights penned some trades and the lighter grades were in reduced numbers. All the buyers were present and operating and competition was slightly weaker with an easing in the market.

Light lambs to the processors sold from $138 to $140/head. Medium and heavy trade weight lambs were firm to $4/head cheaper and averaged 730c to 755c/kg cwt. Heavy trade 23 to 24kg sold from $162 to $185/head.

Heavy weight lambs were $5 to $10/head cheaper and averaged from 760c to 780c/kg cwt.

Heavy weight lambs sold from $190 to $207 while extra heavy weights sold from $206 to $260/head. Mutton numbers fell and quality was varied with prices easing. Heavy first cross ewes sold $115 to $144/head or 370c to 390c/kg cwt.
