In a statement on their Facebook page, organisers paid tribute to attendees.
"We would like to say thank you to each and every one of you for taking part and supporting our competition again this year! Whether you're a stalwart, who's been coming for years, or this was your virgin adventure, we hope it was everything you thought it would be!
"This year the weather wasn't kind on Saturday which definitely affected the fish numbers, with fishing on Saturday in coastal like conditions proving difficult! But Friday was a cracker!! We have been super lucky with the weather over the past few years, so it was only fair we guess that it turned a little this year. Thank you for bearing with us on Sunday for the presentations, we are super glad the rain that set in Sunday afternoon held off long enough for the presentations to be finished up and for you guys to all get out safely! We hope to see you next year!"
Congratulations again to all winners!
