Nearly 8000 people marvelled at Saturday night's Balloon Glow - a spectacular feature of a wonderful week and weekend.

Friday night's concert was a hit with 850 dancing the night away with Casey Barnes and Furnace and the Fundamentals.

Saturday's parade drew crowds to the streets and finally, on Sunday, the balloons gathered at the oval for a final lift-off.

Balloon Challenge president Tom Beath described the event as fantastic and thanked all the volunteers and workers who helped make it all happen.
