HOLMWOOD CELEBRATES HARMONY DAY

Holmwood Public School recently celebrated Harmony Day with a vibrant assembly and a delightful shared lunch that brought together students, staff, and parents in a spirit of inclusion and diversity. The day was filled with activities that highlighted the importance of cultural understanding and acceptance within our school community.

It was heartening to see a significant turnout of parents who came to support their children and participate in the celebrations. The sense of community was palpable and it underscored Holmwood Public School’s commitment to fostering an inclusive environment.

One of the highlights of the day was the shared Indian lunch, where parents, staff and students enjoyed an array of delicious dishes, including Korma, Butter Chicken, and Rogan Josh. The food not only satisfied appetites but also served as a wonderful opportunity for families to get together as a school community.

HOLMWOOD RELAY TEAM STATE BOUND

Best wishes to the Holmwood Public School Relay Team, who will be competing at the NSW PSSA Swimming Championships at Homebush on Friday 11th of April. This is an impressive achievement for our students and we are proud of their dedication and hard work. We will be cheering them on as they represent our school and showcase their skills in the pool.
