Congratulations to Sue, Sandra, Leila and Sharon for their very close win over Maureen, Eileen, Kerrin and Dawn 25/20 in the final of the Ladies Fours. Well contested by all sixteen ladies in the competition.

Our Grade 6 Pennant team travelled to Dubbo last Friday to contest the remaining Play-Off matches against Trangie, Coonabarabran and Millthorpe over the weekend. We started well with good wins over Trangie and Coonabarabran, which put us in good stead for our last match against Millthorpe, but we still needed a win to take the title. Alas, Millthorpe was too great a hurdle to overcome, and we went down 76 shots to 56.

Also, last Friday our Grade 7 Pennant Team travelled to Orange to contest their Play-Off matches against Binnaway, Nyngan and Bathurst Majellan. Again, we started with a good win over Binnaway, suffered a loss to Nyngan, the eventual winners, then a good win again over Bathurst Majellan, but it just wasn’t good enough to make the Final.

Better luck next time to all our Pennant Teams and Players.

Last Saturday and Sunday we had visiting teams from Manildra, Wallerawang and West Dubbo involved in the Regional Grade 4 Pennant Play-Off. All three teams had a win, so the title went to Manildra on a countback.
