The Kia EV6 electric crossover is getting a bold new look up front, with a prototype spied testing ahead of an expected 2024 debut.
Pictures of the heavily camouflaged prototype have been published on Korean site Autospy.
Gone is the aggressive yet conventional face of the current EV6, with the new model featuring triangular headlights.
As showcased by previous spy images captured by Woopa TV, these new, more angular lights feature a new LED light cluster bracketed by a V-shaped daytime running light.
These new headlights also appear to sit lower down than the current model's, giving the front end a more aggressive stance.
Moving around to the side of the prototype, we see again new wheels with a different design from the last spied prototype. The rear is largely hidden under bulky camouflage.
The wheels on this prototype somewhat resemble those on the facelifted Picanto GT-Line.
Once again, we haven't seen the interior, so it's unclear what changes will be made here. We can expect, however, the latest generation of Kia's infotainment system.
According to VFACTS figures, Kia has sold 1367 EV6s between January and October 2023, a 166 per cent increase over the same period in 2022.
The Kia EV6 range starts from $72,590 before on-road costs for the entry-level Air and extends to $99,590 before on-road costs for the flagship EV6 GT AWD.
