The 68th Annual Eisteddfod will be held May/June 2022.
There have been several changes to the running of the Eisteddfod to cater for the increased number of entries in the Group Dancing Sections, and the limited seating available in the Civic Centre.
The Dance Group sections will be split over two weekends.
5 - 6 and 8 years group sections will be held on Saturday, May 7 with all other age groups (10 -12 - 14 yrs and Open) to be held on May 21 and 22.
All tickets for the Dance Group Sessions will be sold online prior to the competition, to prevent over crowding.
Ticket sales will be advertised well in advance, and will be restricted in numbers.
Another major change will be the Speech and Drama sections which will beheld at the Services Club auditorium, from May 11 to 15.
This will enable the senior sections to be held over the weekend, which will make it more practical for the competitors.
All other disciplines will be held at the Civic Centre from May 11 to 29 with the popular concert of major prizewinners to be held on June 2.
The Cowra Eisteddfod committee is very grateful to the sponsors and volunteers who continue to support the running of this major event each year.
The eisteddfod provides the opportunity for lovers of the performing arts to compete and/or enjoy the performances, with competitors, families and friends coming from several states each year.
