The highlight event of the afternoon was the Lachlan Valley Double Barrel Championship with Justin Smith from Boorowa taking out the overall trophy with a score of 108/108 closely followed by local Cowra shooter, Tony O'Leary on 107/108.
Others to perform well were father and son, Ewen and Pat Dun, Peter Mould and Tom Peadon.
The Jackpot Trophy off handicap was taken out by Grady Evans from Boorowa after shooting 43/44 off the back mark of 25 metres.
Cliff Dykes finished second to Grady and Damian Rowett achieved third place.
Congratulations must go to Grady Evans who was in hot form winning the High Gun for the afternoon with a grand total of 99/100.
Great shooting, Grady.
Our next competition in December - our Christmas shoot - will feature the Central Zone Champion of Champions which was to be held in August but was re-scheduled due to COVID.
We hope to see quite a few from around the Zone come to vie for this prestigious title.
