The Cowra local government area (LGA) has recorded two new cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours period to 8pm on Sunday, October 3.

Neither of the cases were infectious in the community and have been isolating at home.
The Western NSW Local Health District (WNSWLHD) identified 23 new cases - 12 in Wellington, three in Bourke, two in Cowra, two in Narromine, one in Dubbo, one in Orange, one in Mudgee and one in Bathurst.
Testing continues to take place at the Cowra Showground between 9am and 3pm.
According to Member for Cootamundra, Steph Cooke, an "announcement about the Cowra lockdown is expected soon".
