Council currently has a number of freehold lots up for sale as part of the Cowra Airport project, however Ms Peters would like to see other space at the facility reserved for a variety of uses.
"You've got something that people can enhance in 50 years' time or 100 years' time," she said.
"If they don't put the land aside now, it will be too late."
Ms Peters said she would like to see some of the land used for private aircraft storage that includes dwellings, multi-purpose aero industries such as further training schools and repair and maintenance facilities; an events centre, an Aero Club and commercial aircraft storage.
She also believes council could look to airparks in Temora and Rylstone for inspiration, where lots vary in size.
The majority of Council's available lots are 1250m2, however Ms Peters believes it won't suit all aero-related businesses that make the move to Cowra.
"I want to really encourage those businesses to come out here and to say we have land for sale."
Ms Peter's plan for the land include allowing for a sound buffer by planting a row of trees on the boundary, as well as having provisions for the proposed heavy vehicle bypass.
"This could be an awesome airpark precinct," she said.
"It's an asset to leave to the next generation."
Ms Peters will be hosting a "Listening Post" for residents every Thursday in July at Tastebuds in Kendal Street between 10.30am and 11.30am.
