At its recent meeting, members of the Cowra Branch of Australian Red Cross made plans for a new raffle of a $50 voucher from Aldi as well as a Christmas hamper, to be held in the plaza on Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29 and then drawn at the Street Stall to be held on Thursday, December 5.

All proceeds are to go to the Red Cross Let's Talk Drought Appeal.
Even more trauma teddies are being assembled, read to go to various points of need and the special emergency packs for hospital and homeless people in need are being distributed.
The next meeting of the Branch will have a change of venue and time as it will be at the Cowra Bowling Club before members and friends get together for lunch, at their own expense, as their Christmas gathering.
Therefore the Monday, December 9, meeting will be at 12 noon in one of the Cowra Bowling Club rooms and followed by lunch in the restaurant from about 12.30.
