However, this year it was combined with the District A50 Changeover, because Cowra member Anne Holloway was inducted as District A50 Chairman for 2019-2020.
The triple celebration was it being the 50th year since District A50 was established.
Cowra member Sylvia Pereira made a beautifully decorated birthday cake that was later cut by the Australian Inner Wheel President-Elect Robyn Gillespie, the A50 Chairman for 2018-2019 Maria Bargwanna and a Past A50 District Chairman Devina Harrison.
The day began at the Cowra Services Club with morning tea and a visit from the acting Prime Minister, the Hon. Michael McCormack and his wife Catherine.
He charmed all present, delivered a brief address with some humour and then the District Inner Wheel business meeting commenced.
For the male partners and some guests, Anne Holloway had organised a visit to Brumby.
How interesting they found it and many questions were asked.
Business owner Philip Goard was very generous with his time and knowledge as he showed them the beautifully presented and maintained workshop.
He explained how Brumby rebuilds Chinese and Russian Warbirds.
There were airplanes specifically built to win world aerobatic championships and there were Brumby aircraft in various stages of construction.
The luncheon was attended by Cowra's Mayor, Councillor Bill West and our Member for Cootamundra Steph Cooke MP.
The MC Sue Brown called the assembly to order and welcomed the guests including Inner Wheel Australia President-elect Robyn Gillespie, Inner Wheel Australia Vice President-Elect Elizabeth Tooke of Blayney, Past Inner Wheel Australia Presidents, Maria Bargwanna A50 District Chairman 2018-2019 and many Past A50 District Chairmen including Jean Whiley, formerly of Cowra.
This 50th celebration brought members and partners together from Queensland and many areas of NSW, as well as the eight A50 Clubs all present in Cowra to renew friendships and enjoy the fine food and elegantly decorated auditorium of the Cowra Services Club.
President Linda Harris read her report, thanking the committee and members of Cowra Club for all their hard work and support throughout her year as president.

Linda spoke of their successful fundraising, the variety of guest speakers, and the fun luncheons they had enjoyed.
Linda was inducted for a second year as president by A50 District Chairman Maria Bargwanna.
Cowra's M and M Award (the name commemorating the extraordinary service of former members Marj Bassingthwaite and Marie Sullivan) was presented by President Linda to Sue Brown for her outstanding service, her consistent effort and enthusiasm.
A50 District Chairman Maria next inducted Anne Holloway as District Chairman for 2019-2020.
Anne reminded us that the International Inner Wheel Objects of Friendship, personal service and the fostering of International Understanding are the cornerstones of the Inner Wheel organisation.
Anne announced the 2019-2020 International Theme "Together We Can" which includes the opportunity for each member to be able to contribute and make a difference.
