Despite a fast-start from the Luke Primmer-trained, Seryn Adams-driven Brexitt, it wasn't enough to hold out a fast finishing Pure Charisma, who delivered a Sam Agostino Memorial win to trainer-driver John O'Shea.

Settling into an inside spot behind the Brexitt early, the four year old Brown Mare never looked perturbed, despite an early outside run coming from sixth-place finisher Hey Suzie.
However, it wasn't an entirely drama-free run.
Making its final run past Brexitt up the final straight, Pure Charisma had to hold out, with Nathan Turnbull's Express Pass making a late charge on the outside, while Bobby Street was rapidly making ground on the inside.
To add to this, a flagging Brexitt still remained in the picture.
Nevertheless, Pure Charisma held on, keeping a margin of semi-half-a-head to take out the $5100 first-place prize money ahead of Express Pass, with Brexitt a head behind and Mark Hewitt's Bobby Street 5.4m back.
O'Shea said in his post-race HRNSW interview he was pleased to take the win, given how close Turnbull's horse got by the race's end, describing Pure Charisma's ride behind Brexitt as the "perfect trip".
"Nathan's horse was unlucky... hopefully she [Pure Charisma] can win another one somewhere."
Humorously, O'Shea partly bit his tongue while yelling instructions at the horse, but when asked afterwards as to why the yelling was so desperate, he had a simpler explanation on hand.
"I needed the money," he said wryly.
O'Shea had a strong day at the office, finishing second while driving outsider Beetson in the Tritech Cowra Cup while Sam's Express, a horse he trained, took out the win in the Cowra Machinery Centre Pace.
