There will be a wide range of great events on throughout the region, including The Wyangala Bonfire and Fireworks Spectacular, Iandra Castle open day and more.
The Wyangala Bonfire and Fireworks Spectacular is back on again on Sunday, June 9 from 4pm.
This incredible event is getting bigger and better each year, over 4000 people attended last year's event, quite a feat for a little village with a population of only 200.
There will be live entertainment, a jumping castle, hot and cold beverages and of course, a huge bonfire and dazzling fireworks, all for free.
Also on June 9, the beautiful Iandra Castle will be holding one of their fantastic open days from 10am to 4pm.
Be sure to wander through this magnificent estate at your leisure, there is so much to explore.
You can pick up a coffee from Art of Espresso, or pack a picnic and enjoy your day out on the lawn or on the verandah.
Entry is $15 for adults, $10 for pensioners and $5 school age children.
The exquisite Gooloogong Log Cabin Markets In The Park will also be taking place June 9, 9am to 1pm at the Gooloogong Memorial Park.
These markets feature over 40 local producers and artisans from around the region all within a leisurely Sunday drive from Cowra.
Local products on offer include giftware, plants, health products, candles and soaps, there will even be a blacksmith demonstration.
This will most likely be the last markets held in the park as the ongoing renovations to the Gooloogong Log Cabin hall are approaching their completion.
All the hall facilities are being updated and improved for the comfort of the community and its visitors.
Once the renovations are completed the hall will be available for hire for many functions including community events, weddings, parties, musical nights.
For those wanting to explore further afield, the Henry Lawson Festival at Grenfell should definitely be on your 'to do' list.
The festival is celebrating its 61st year with an impressive line up of activities and exhibitions to enjoy.
The June long weekend will see a variety of market stalls, buskers, rides for the kids and the ever popular guinea pig races.
The Henry Lawson Festival will run from Thursday, June 6 to Monday, June 10.
With so much on throughout the June long weekend, there will be a little something for everyone to enjoy.
