The red and whites are raising funds for headspace, a National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing early intervention services to 12 to 25 year olds.
“At the start of the year we thought it’d be a good idea to wear a charity strip one round and raise a bit of money,” Cowra halfback Troy Jeffs said.
“The prime age division of our club is people up to 25 years of age, so we thought headspace would be a good choice.”
Saturday’s game is crucial for the Eagles’ hopes of securing a spot in the top four and coincides with the club’s annual Old Boys Day.
A big crowd is expected to provide a morale boost following Cowra’s loss against Emus on Saturday. Headspace representatives will be attending and will be able to provide information to people at the game.
Jerseys one to 23 will be up for grabs in a silent auction following the end of the first grade match with an amount of the funds raised going to support delivery of services from the headspace Centre in Cowra.
“We want to do something to help the community and give back to a local charity,” Jeffs added.
