Sam graduated from the University of Canberra with a Bachelor of Sport Coaching and Exercise Science and said he felt a wave of relief as he accepted his degree in front of his friends, family and girlfriend Meg.
Sam said he was thankful all his hard work studying had paid off as he accepted his degree.
“I had a great time at UC,” he said.
“My course was a mix of really interesting practical workplace learning and great teachers who helped me get to grips with the theory.”
“I also loved coming to Canberra to study, it blends city living with country roots. I met so many people during my time at the University, especially since I lived on campus for the four years of my degree.
Sam has wasted no time putting his newly acquired degree to good use.
“I’ve already secured a great job with Capital Football, the governing body for football across the ACT,” he said.
“I’m working as their facilities coordinator, and I love it,” he said.
