Cowra Legacy is a group of volunteers who use the funds raised to support the families of deceased exservice personel.
The appeal has commenced with a generous donation from Cowra Services Club. On Wednesday, August 23, the Cowra Bowling Club will again support Legacy with a bowls day commencing at 1pm.
Canowindra is now part of the Cowra Legacy area and we will conduct a "Badge Day" appeal there on Wednesday, August 30.
The Cowra appeal will be on Friday, September 1, when we will have a presence in the main street enabling the public and businesses to give their support.
Lyndsay Cain from Cowra Motorcycles has shown his support by donating a Victor Corvette lawnmower valued at $400 for a Legacy raffle. Tickets are $5 or three for $10. If we miss you and you would like to contribute or buy tickets, contact Ray Walsh 0429 423 548.
