Coach Rory Brien was disappointed with ball security in last week’s 36-12 loss at the hands of Orange CYMS and it’s something he’s hoping to see fixed rapidly.
“Preparation has been good this week. We’ve focused on the areas we didn’t excel on the weekend so hopefully we can get it right on Saturday,” Rory Brien said.
Lithgow are coming off a 38-4 win over Blayney Bears which marked their first official victory for the year, having had the bye in round two.
“I think they’ll be strong. They have some big strong boys and I expect them to come out firing. They’re definitely not a team to be taken lightly,” Brien said.
With Lithgow not fielding an under 18s side, the main game is likely to start about 12.45pm this Saturday.
Both league tag and first division will begin proceedings.
