This Sunday, the Eagles host a struggling Macquarie United outfit who have only registered one point this campaign.
The Eagles remain in the top three, perched below Panorama Black and CSU White.
Their most recent victory came two weeks ago against CSU Red and coach Adam Gambrill was mostly pleased with the side’s commitment, because it wasn’t the Eagles’ best performance.
“Something I learned last season is that these types of wins are the ones you need to go far in the competition. It may not be as satisfying as a three or four goal thumping but they’re just as important,” Adam Gambrill said at the time.

Gun striker Toby Baker, who leads the tournament with eight goals, will be looking to add to his tally.
