That could be you – at our next meeting on Tuesday, April 4, 7:30pm at Cowra Ex-Services Club (somewhere).
Appreciation also to our outgoing Office-bearers for their effort, including Donna.
It would be good to set up the full Autumn program then, as the bush already has recovered from the heat of Summer with the recent heavy rain.
Latest trips
Judy organised a local ramble around Billygoat Hill and PoW Campsite on Monday, March 20.
Jan led an extended Gosling Creek to Lake Canobolas wine-tasting walk on Sunday, March 26.
It was warm for Orange so advice and access from Carthew and also water from locals on the Canobolas Road led seven of us through a picturesque walk and excellent refreshment at Borrodell vineyard, well deserved!
From there is a beautiful view of our ramblings through orchards, along lanes and roads and tracks around the lake, finishing across the new suspension bridge built by Orange Rotary Club and Orange City Council.
Future trips
Next is a tramp through Taragala, co-ordinated by Sharon and Terry Cohen on Sunday, April 9 now, meeting 9am at the Rose Garden Visitor Centre.
Non-members are most welcome on up to three walks as guests before joining, at $20 annually – now due!
If you have any questions regarding any Club activities please feel free to contact one of our Committee members.
Participants in activities are requested to contact the walk leader in advance to let her or him know to expect you and to check the level of fitness needed and any special requirements or arrangements.
