Husband Jim came with her.
She has been growing orchids for 20 years and has received prizes at competitions and grand champion for two years at Canberra Orchid Show.
The March meeting will be Thursday evening, March 2 from 7.30pm at the senior citizens rooms next to Woolworths.
Fran will inform us about growing bulbs and Troy will have bulbs for sale.
Meeting finishes about 9pm with a cuppa and chat.
Anyone welcome, $5 to join for 12 months.
This year’s Canberra Orchid Show is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, September 23 and 24.
Native orchids and exotic orchids are in full bloom for the event making it a great spectacle for show goers in attendance.
