Cowra greyhound Falcon’s Fury missed out on Group 1 glory on Saturday night, finishing third in the Paws Of Thunder Final (520m) at Wentworth Park.

Trained by Paul and Pamela Braddon, Falcon’s Fury missed the start but swiftly made his way alongside the front runners where he was bumped wide by eventual winner Shima Bar ($3.10) at the first bend.
Shima Bar, trained by Andrea Dailly, showed superior speed and passed early race leader Clock’s Ticking on the back straight to collect the $75,000 winner’s prize.
Falcon’s Fury chased hard and produced a gutsy performance to finish in the placings.
He pocketed $10,135 prizemoney for his efforts.
