The program Whlan Dreaming ran from Wednesday to today Friday.
The program run by the Wahlan Warriors is aimed at giving Cowra’s youth a place to go during the holidays. One organiser George Coe saidhe hoped the program would provide a break for parents.

“We wanted to give the kids something to do over the holidays, mainly based around sport and rec but that also incorporates a cultural aspect of the aboriginal community as well,” he said.
“The program is inclusive and we want to invite the wider community and engage support services and give the parents a break.”
