With summer seemingly coming early, the sweaty and sweltering conditions didn't stop hundreds from turning out for the 96th annual Morongla Show on Monday, October 5.

There was plenty of fun for all ages, with the show rides, horse events, games and all of the competitions in the pavilion attracting many spectators.
There was more than 300 votes cast in the inaugural hay bale competition, with OOSH Carinya taking out the top prize for a very creative hay bale resembling a ham, tomato and cheese toasted sandwich.
The man-made chocolate cake competition raised vital funds for Legacy, with the cakes going for hundreds.
Over in the pavilion, Jean Langfield was the most successful entrant, with Mary Binnington and Barbara Langfield coming second and third respectively.
The Iron-man and Iron-woman competitions were highlights of the day, with teams having to push hay bales, hop in a sack race and finish off with a wheelbarrow race.
Emma, Sophie, Courtney and Donna Wright took out the women's competition, whilst the winning men's team featured Ben Raynolds, Robert Langfield, Robert Webster and Matt Walker.
