Head down to the Cowra Airport this Sunday, March 29 for the Cowra Aero Club's 'Try a Fly Day.'
Kicking off at 9am, trial instruction flights, local flights, bbq and refreshments are all available, along with an opportunity to try a fly.
For a $20 donation to the Cowra Aero Club, you'll have the chance to fly in a locally owned aircraft and see Cowra from a whole new perspective.
Thinking of a flying career? Instructors from the Cowra Aero Club will also be available to talk you through the different stage so of learning to fly.
Orange Helicopters will also be on hand, offering 10 minute joy flights over Cowra for $65. Wyangala Dam scenic flights lasting 30 minutes are also available, with a cost of $140 per person, minimum four people.
Fred Fahey Aerial Services will also be providing static displays of fire fighting water bombing planes and equipment.
