Cowra motorists are paying up to 20 cents a litre more at the petrol pump compared to surrounding towns and villages.

According to FuelCheck, local drivers have the most expensive trip to the bowser for the region, with petrol prices lower in areas such as Grenfell, Blayney and Canowindra.
On Monday, Ethanol 94 (E10) hit 159.9 cents a litre at Cowra's major service stations.
In comparison, E10 was up to 20 cents cheaper in Grenfell - 139.9 cents a litre at Metro Petroleum and 143.9 at the Enhance petrol station.
There was also more than 20 cents difference in prices in Grenfell and Cowra in terms of Unleaded 91.
Motorists were paying 141.9 cents a litre at Metro Petroleum in Grenfell while those who filled up at Shell Cowra forked out 164.9 cents a litre on Monday.
In comparison, Unleaded 91 was going for 145 cents a litre in Lyndhurst, around 151 cents a litre in Blayney and Canowindra, and 154.9 in Gooloogong and Mandurama.
Premium 95 hit 175.9 cents a litre and 174.9 cents a litre at BP Cowra and United Cowra respectively, compared to 149.9 at the Independent Grenfell station.
Prices in Lyndhurst, Mandurama, Canowindra and Blayney varied between 160 and 167.9 cents a litre.
Motorists looking to fill up with Premium 98 had to pay 181.9 at Shell Cowra, 182.9 cents a litre at United Cowra and Caltex Woolworths Cowra and 184.9 at BP Cowra.

The most expensive Premium 98 fuel in Grenfell belonged to Enhance and South West Fuels, both sitting at 160.9, with Metro Petroleum coming in at 158.9.
Diesel prices weren't as dramatic between the centres, ranging from the 142.9 mark in Grenfell to 158.9 cents a litre in Cowra.
Looking to the wider region, Parkes drivers also felt the sting at the petrol pump, paying similar prices to Cowra.
On the whole, Parkes motorists were paying 159.9 cents a litre for E10, 161.9 for Unleaded 91, 175.9 for Premium 95, 184.9 for Premium 98 and between 156.9 and 159.9 cents a litre for diesel.
Forbes drivers have fared slightly better than their neighbours, paying 157.9 at the pump for E10, 159.9 for Unleaded 91, 173.9 for Premium 95 and 180.9 for Premium 98.
Prices for diesel in both towns were similar, between 156.9 and 159.9 cents a litre.
Young also had cheaper petrol prices in comparison - 152.9 for E10, 153.9 for Unleaded 91, 168.9 for Premium 95, between 172.9 and 177.9 per litre for Premium 98 and 152.9 for diesel.
