Janelle Susan Fitzgerald of Jindalee Circuit failed to appear before the court charged with possession of a prohibited weapon and the matter was heard in her absence.
According to police facts around 3.30pm September 4, police were informed of a male and female acting suspiciously in a toilet cubicle at Squire Park.
Police attended and asked the people to exit, the male did and a short time later Fitzgerald also exited. Police dealt with them and moved them on.
A short time later police were called back to the park following information stating Fitzgerald was in a second cubical searching through a sanitary bin.
Believing she was searching for drugs police attended her residence where she arrived a short time later and was informed she was going to be searched.
During the search police found a knuckleduster in Fitzgerald's handbag. When questioned about the knuckleduster she told police she had found them in the park.
When questioned about why she hadn't handed them in she replied, "I don't know".
Police then seized the knuckleduster.
