Senior Women
Cowra's senior women didn't quite get a win on Sunday, but they finished the season on a positive note, negotiating a 0-0 draw against the Millthorpe Tigers.
Neither team was able to get on the scoreboard, leaving the Tigers just outside the top four, one point behind the Mudgee Wolves.
Meanwhile, for the Eagles, the solitary point was consolation for a tough year, taking the team from seven to eight points, and while they finished in last place, they will hopefully find solace in their ability to battle through some tough results.
Men's Reserves
An impressive 4-0 win against the Brighouse Over 35's wasn't enough for the Eagles to secure a final's berth, but leaves them in a prime position to take the second division title.
The team continued its strong run of form in the victory, with four individual goal-scorers - Darren Heike, Ethan Willis, Mark Gordon and Tristyn O'Reilly - and clinical ball use among the highlights.
The Eagles' inner-sanctum have noted the improvement over the last six weeks, and with the side testing several of the top four teams, it has a fighting chance in Saturday's Division Two semi-final against Blayney.
If they win the home final, it would guarantee a grand final appearance, but if the team loses, they'll play a sudden death final against the winner of the Denley Moor Over 35s and CYMS Gold minor semi-final.
