Phillip John Oxley of Thomas Street was before the court charged with driving under the influence and holding a licence that expired two years or more before.
According to police facts around 12pm on February 15, 2018 police were traveling along the Mid Western Highway behind a black commodore which was travelling at speeds between 95 and 113km/h.
Police also observed that the vehicle would drift from one side of the lane to the other, place its left indicator on and illuminate its brake lights while continuing on varying speeds.
After two kilometres, police stopped the vehicle at Campbell Street and asked the driver, Oxley, for his licence.
Oxley told police he didn't have one.

Police checks revealed he was the holder of a class C licence that had expired on September 28, 2013.
While speaking to police, Oxley's speech was slurred, mumbled, hard to understand and ranged in volume. His eyes were red and bloodshot and he couldn't maintain eye contact with police.
He also kept fidgeting.
Police conducted a search of the vehicle and located a resealable bag containing a substance believed to be ice in the front passenger footwell.
The bag was weighed at 29.9 grams.
When asked about the bag, Oxley told police, "Yeah it's Amfet".
Asked when he had taken the drugs, Oxley told police about an hour ago.
During this time, Oxley was unable to sit still, getting up three times to go to a nearby tap and splash himself with water.
He was then taken to Cowra hospital for blood and urine testing.
Unable to produce a urine sample, a blood sample was taken.
The sample was tested at the Forensic and Analytical Science Service in Lidcombe and returned positive to 0.02mg/L of Amphetamine, 0.43gm/L of Methylamphetamine and 0.011mg/L of Delta-9-THC acid.
A report concluded Oxley would have been under the influence to the extent his driving would have been affected.
