Cabonne Council road crews have cleared snow and tree debris earlier than anticipated.
1.44pm: We've just received word that the Mid Western Highway is about to reopen.
We've also just spoken to Inspector Peter Aitken from the Canobolas Local Area Command, who's confirmed there have been no major traffic accidents this morning.
That's not to say it's been without incident though.
"Six trucks were stuck at Burley Jack because of the show and ice and we've had a couple of cars slide off the road around Woodstock," he said.
"We expect this weather to continue over the next few days so people should beware snow and black ice, the road could freeze over again tonight."
1.34pm: Cargo Road remains closed. The next update will be after 2pm.
12.27pm: Essential Energy crews are today continuing power supply restoration efforts in the Cowra area following last night's snowfall that caused extensive damage to the local electricity network.
This morning approximately 200 customers in parts of Cowra, Woodstock, Garland, Roseberg and surrounds remain without power supply.
"All available local crews are on the job today and we've brought in additional workers from outside the affected area to speed up our repair and supply restoration efforts," a spokesperson from the company said.
"We’d like to assure our customers that we will be working as quickly as safety allows to complete necessary repairs and progressively restore supply to customers.
"Our aim at this stage is to restore supply to the largest number of customers in the shortest time, however, as always, our priority is safety - for the public and our workers."
Customers can call Essential Energy's 24-hour supply interruptions line on 13 20 80 for more information of updates about unscheduled supply interruptions or to report fallen powerlines or network damage.
12:23pm: No junior rugby league teams will take to the field tomorrow morning.
Bernie Wilkinson from the club said the matches have been called off due to fears of injuries in the wet weather.
12:22pm: We've just had word from Sarah Halls of Cowra Special Needs, who's confirmed one of their cars was bogged close to Shiel Homestead for around an hour.
Cowra Council were first one the scene but the rope they were using to pull them out broke.
Lucky, Malcolm Drury and Kel Moriarty stopped to lend a hand.
"Everyone's ok but it wasn't a pleasant experience," she said.
12.12pm: The under 13s and under 16s junior league teams away games in Orange tomorrow have been cancelled.

According to witnesses, people are on the scene now trying to get the buses moving.
More information to come.
PREVIOUSLY: There was a hint of magic in the air as snow blanketed parts of the Cowra shire last night for the first time in more than three decades.
As the sun rose though, and the big white settled in, road closures and electricity outages have impacted some areas.
There are major closures right across the central west region after last night's snow.
These include:
- Cargo Road, from Cargo Road to the Orange City Council boundary.
Cargo Road between Orange and the village of Cargo is closed following severe weather conditions overnight.
Fallen trees as well as snow have blocked the road in several places and Cabonne Council's road crews are working now to clear the obstructions.
This work requires removing a number of overhanging limbs that are covered in snow and will take several hours to complete.
An update will be provided after 12pm today.
The access road to Mount Canobolas is also closed and is likely to remain closed for several days.
No other major roads with Cabonne Shire are closed at the moment, but a number of highways in the Central and Blue Mountains have also been closed or affected by snow and motorists are advised to check with police or www.livetraffic.com before planning any trips.
- Noonbinna Road and Noonbinna East Roads are closed due to water on the road.
- The Great Western Highway is closed in both directions between Mount Victoria and Lawson and also between Bathurst and Marrangaroo.
- Bells Line of Road is closed in both directions between Bell and Mount Irvine.
- The Mid Western Highway between Blayney and Cowra is also closed.
- O'Connell Road is closed in both directions between Oberon and Bathurst.
- Duckmaloi Road is closed in both directions between Oberon and Jenolan Caves Road.
For those travelling further afield the Goulburn to Crookwell Road is closed, as is the road between Crookwell and Bigga, while all of the major roads in the Oberon Council area are closed.
The Hume Highway is closed at Berrima due to snow and ice. There is no diversion for heavy vehicles. Light vehicles can divert via Mittagong, Bowral and Moss Vale.
Cowra Shire Council have fielded reports of trees down and some back roads are closed.
There's also been reports of widespread power outages in Orange and in outlying areas.
